Lettice Duffet, an expert on Elizabethan cuisine and medieval weaponry,
is an indefatigable but daffy enthusiast of history and the theatre. As a
tour guide at Fustian House, one of the least stately of London's stately
homes, she theatrically embellishes its historical past, ultimately coming
up on the radar of Lotte Schon, an inspector from the Preservation Trust.
Neither impressed nor entertained by Lettice's freewheeling history lessons,
Schon fires her. Not one, however, to go without a fight, Lettice engages the
stoic, conventional Lotte in a battle to the death over all that is sacred to
				the Empire and the crown.

						Kathy Barickman
is back for her second season at the Waterbury Festival Playhouse. After having so much fun with
Unnecessary Farce, she can't wait to see what's in store for this year. When not playing with WFP
or the Valley Players, Kathy can usually be found either working in Williston as a microbiologist,
singing in choir at St. Michael's College, or at home in Underhill with her husband, Jake, and
their menagerie. She has her dad to thank for passing on the theater bug MANY years ago.

						Cael Barkman
originally hails from New York and has been residing in the "tropical" islands of
Vermont for four years. This is her third year at the Waterbury Festival Playhouse.
She was the jaded sister in "Anton in Show Business", the Barney Fife-ish officer
in "Unnecessary Farce", and hopes to enlarge, enliven and enlighten all in
"Lettice and Lovage." Cael is a fan of dancing in any location or situation
						preferably while donning a romper.

						Ethan T. Bowen
loves to direct, perhaps even more then acting which has been his professional livelihood
for the last 20 plus years. When not working out of town he lives in a house he built himself
in the woods of central Vermont with a dog, a rabbit, lots of wildlife and his lovely wife
Courtney. When not in the theater he cuts fire wood, saws lumber and will be starting a
performing arts studio in his home town of Rochester. Great to back at the WFP.

						Louise J. Mueller
is happily back for the third time with the Waterbury Festival Playhouse.
In Murder Mistaken she was a simpleton maid, in Unnecessary Farce, a ruthless
Mafia Don, and, now, a frightened secretary. Louise claims to be none of those
adjectives, though she feels like a simpleton regarding income tax instructions,
ruthless when weeding her garden and frightened by the mirror first thing in the
morning. When not on stage she's into all things artistic, currently it's
stained glass. Neko, Chloe and Jaz are queens of the castle she shares with her husband.

						Rick Loya
had worked with George and Ginger on many productions in the past but, this is
second session with the Waterbury Festival Playhouse.
Set Design and decoration has been passion of Rick’s for over 20 years now.
Also enjoying the opportunity to take the audience to another time and place
and regarding the set as another character in the performance.
His professional career has been in the custom sign business as a designer
sculptor and pictorial artist . Currently he runs his own business offering
a "broad brush" line of artistic services including fine art and graphic works to faux finishes.

						Carol Loysen
is a retired, frustrated journalist who likes to stay busy ... and loves fabrics. And history; and theatre.

						Ginger Pierce
returns to the Waterbury Festival Playhouse stage for the 6th consecutive year. She fell
in love with Lettice and Lovage when she and husband George saw it in Portland several years
ago. She must confess, however, that she can identify with Lettice, being a fellow lover
of herbs, and has in fact grown lovage in her garden. In addition to making herbal
potions and lotions, Ginger enjoys watercolor painting, stained glass and being a new
empty nester with her husband, George.

						Brooke Pearson
is making his second appearance on the WFP stage, having premiered two summers ago
as Andrew Jorgenson (Jorgy) in Other People's Money. A fully recovered attorney who
now teaches at Montpelier High School, where he mentors students in the school's
Community Based Learning program and coaches Forensics, he is looking forward to
his first defense counsel role. Over the past quarter century, he has appeared
in numerous plays and musicals with Centerstage, Unadilla, and Lost Nation Theaters
as well as the Barre Players, only once in the character of a lawyer,
the County Attorney in Trifles. The father of a geologist daughter in St. Louis
and a geologist son - and adorable 7 year old granddaughter and 7 month old
grandson - in Seattle, Brooke lives in Montpelier with his theatrical
						and demonic orange cat, Fred.
